Not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon. I was playing golf with DB and about 12 holes into the searing heat he asked what I wanted to do for lunch after the round. Being that I had only four hours of sleep the night before and was suffering from a slight hangover, I decided that a hamburger, in an air conditioned place, and anything cold to drink would be really good. DB said he knew just the place. Who knew they made such good burgers at a strip joint.
Now, I am not a strip club kind of guy. I think this is my fifth time in one. Three of the past times have been bachelor parties. Strip clubs always seem like such a waste of time. It is like always window shopping and never being able to buy anything. Sure it can be fun occasionally, but not what you want to do everyday.
Nine hours later, I found myself in downtown Baltimore having breakfast with two beautiful girls, you know who you are. Asleep by 3:30 AM. I woke up at 8:30 and thought, I could use a few more minutes of sleep. Closed my eyes and opened them 5 minutes later to see it was 11:00 AM. Put together some book shelves for a friend. I got some breakfast and headed home.
And as further proof that Blue is way to picky when it comes to women, I spend nine hours in a strip club and the only girl I was truly attracted to was pouring drinks behind the bar. Maybe it was because she still had her clothes on. There is something to be said about leaving something to the imagination. Maybe it is my strange fascination with waitresses and bartenders. I am not sure what draws me to them. I think it was because she was the most beautiful girl in the place. I am not sure of the reasoning, but all and all, a pretty good weekend.
Off to Seattle today. Be back later this week.
