First Friday Update

Well, it is my first Friday in a new state. Not sure what to do really. May go out to the local tavern, get some grub and have a few cocktails. There are a few places that look interesting near my temporary abode.

My cars arrived today from Cali. They were moved right in the truck along with my household goods. They arrived in perfect working order, which is better than the last time I moved. It's nice to have something of my own. The rest of my houshold goods went to storage until I pick my permanent, well as permanent as anything is with me, place.

I will be apartment shopping this weekend. Hard to pick a place when you are unfamiliar with the area, but I have a few weeks to decide. Who knows, maybe I will see a place this weekend that is perfect. Hopefully.

Work has been good so far. Not to busy, but still a lot to learn. It definitely isn't rocket science around here. The products we are working on don't seem to tough. I am traveling most of next week...get this, I have to fly into Northern Cali...I just left. Couldn't they have planned this meeting for last week. I could have driven to it in about 20 minutes. I am only there for a day and then I am off to Seattle. I like that as I will get to have dinner with Nick next week and catch up. I won't get back here until Thursday. The week after isn't much better. It is a good thing I like to travel.

Anyway have a good weekend. And if you happen to get cut off or stuck behind a guy in a convertible Jag with Cali plates who looks lost, be kind, I am still just a tourist.
