Greetings From Seattle

Well it has been a busy week. I spent most of Monday afternoon and evening on a plane. Man it is a long flight from the east coast to the west coast. Meetings all day on Tuesday and then a flight to Seattle on Wednesday morning. It was an early flight so I had to get up around 4:30 AM to catch it. Now I am at the end of the day and I need to go check into my hotel and get ready for another long flight tomorrow. Good thing is I get to have dinner with Nock tonight. One of the things that intrigued me about this position was the fact that I would get to travel to Seattle pretty regularly. It makes it easy for me to see Nick more often than once a year.

BTW - I don't think it could have been a more beautiful day in Seattle than today. Not a cloud in the sky, we are right on the lake so the views are incredible. Almost makes me think this would be a great place to live. If I hadn't been here a hundred other times when it was overcast and gloomy, I wouldn't know better. Don't get me wrong, I still think this would be a great place to live. the downtown area here is fantastic. It is relatively affordable, I mean we aren't talking about living in Iowa, but it is more affordable than California or Virginia. If you have never spent any real time here, I suggest that you plan a vacation and come take in the great Northwest.

I will post something tomorrow night about my apartment search as well as my need for a new hobby. Got to go, my fourteen hour day is just about up. And I need to get some sleep as I have a five hour flight tomorrow, leaving at 7:30 AM. It will be another long day. At least it is almost Friday.
