No, really, I came for the music...

Naked woman are nice.

Maybe I should start with something else. For the fourth time in my life, I was in a strip club this weekend. OK, not with the blogger crowd, but after that. I personally do not see the need for going to a strip club. It is kind of like going to a restaurant and watching people eat through the window. I am not the kind of person who likes window shopping. And strip clubs are all about window shopping. You don't get to touch and can't try anything on.

So you might ask why I even bothered to go this weekend. My old friend has a close friend that is an ex-stripper (or do I need to say exotic dancer?). They have been friends for years and through her he has met many people in that industry, as a matter of fact, most of the people he knows are strippers, are ex-strippers or are married to ex-strippers. Hey, strippers are real people too. So while I was visiting him this weekend, he took me to the bar that he hangs out in all the time.

I have not been in a strip club for many years, last time was a bachelor party. I am not well versed in strip club etiquette. I am sure I was fine, as none of the building size guys told me to calm down or anything. I just found it a little weird to have naked women come around and sit on the bar and have normal conversations with me and my buddy (cause they know him), while they are naked. How can you sit there and talk with me about the Tool concert you went to last month while you are naked? Do you know you have no clothes on? It must be nice to be so comfortable with your body that chatting nude seems OK. I was uncomfortable and I was dressed.

All of the girls were really nice, it is their job. I did have one minor incident with another patron. I got up to go to the bathroom and while I was gone, a guy sat in my chair. He got up when I returned, but I noticed the $1 I left on the bar was gone. Who steals a dollar. It wasn't $10 or $20 it was a dollar - get real. I laughed about that for a while. My buddy was actually pretty pissed about it. I told him not to worry about it, it was only a dollar and he said that was the point.

Needless to say, my weekend was filled with good times. First, I got to meet some great bloggers. I got to see a friend I have not seen in 10 years and Sunday I saw a buddy I have not seen for 20 years. I drank to much, I ate to much, I slept to little and I saw more naked women than I have in the last year. What more could you ask for in one weekend.
