My Surreal Life

Well we did it. We broke the rules and met in the 3D world. Last night I and six of my blog buddies met in a bar in Baltimore and tried to pretend that this wasn't weird. OK, we all new it was a little weird. I mean how can it not be a little strange when you are sitting across from someone whose sex life you know everything about and yet you don't know what they do for a living? Surreal.

Was I disappointed with the experience? Hell No! Would I do it again? Hell Yes! As a matter of fact, I am going to in Vegas in August. Did the people measure up to the expectations and images that have been building in my head from the moment I first read their blogs? Yes. I found everyone to be much like I imagined them...funny, outgoing and damn interesting.

I am not going to report on the happenings of the evening, as some things should stay private. :) Although Jas up on stage was pretty funny. Besides I am sure that you can read any of these sites: ThatGirl, Independantgirl, HipChick, Jasika, RC666, and Emptyman to get the skinny on the night of drinking. Well you should probably try and wait for the sober version from That Girl.

HipChick had a great idea. She thought this would make a great reality TV show. Get a bunch of bloggers who only know each other from the Internet and stick them in the same house and see how they truly get along. OK, it wouldn't be that great a show, but hell they put Hell's Kitchen on TV.

To all of the brave bloggers who decided to venture out and join me in the real world - Thanks...I had a great time and I will see you in Vegas. To the rest of you - try it, you might like it.
