I really love trips that are paid for by my employer. Here is an example of my week. Or at least my weekend.
Sunday - breakfast with RC (formally TGILTM) - pool - massage - pool - lunch - pool - dinner - bed.
Sure the whole week didn't go like that, but you can imagine that it is not all work and no play.
I played in a golf tournament on Monday and my team finished in 2nd place. We won about $750 in prizes, each. Not bad for a little conference tournament.
The rest of the week has consisted of meetings with customers, dinners with friends and colleagues and parties with open bars. I have yet to have a bottle of wine with dinner that was under $150 a bottle. I have been out every night until after 2:00 AM. Yeah, that's right, I live a rough life.
I have very little to do tomorrow, but my flight doesn't leave until 8:00 PM so I think there will be some pool time involved. Wish me luck.
When I get home, I have one day of work and then I am off to Atlantic City for the weekend. The next time I complain about not being able to find someone I want to date, remind me how little I am around.
