I have been suspiciously absent from all communication lately. I even got an IM from HRH saying that she heard they needed to put out an APB on me. Fear not, I am still alive and well. “Well” is a somewhat relative term as I have not felt well in about a week. I am sleeping too little, but seem to be in bed too much. I have had more headaches in the last week than in the last year. I don’t even know if it is physical or mental. It could be the heat. It could be work. It could be Legionnaires Disease. It could be loneliness. It could just be the stress of everyday life. I am not sure what is wrong. I just know I can’t seem to shake it. Don’t worry, I will continue to fight it, but please understand if I don’t seem to be myself.
On a brighter note…I have been using NetFlix for a few weeks now. I am amazed at how fast they get me movies. As an example, I put two movies in the mail box at my condo on Monday morning (which means that my postman picked them up that afternoon), and I got an email Tuesday that said they received them. Later on Tuesday they emailed me to let me know they had shipped two more movies to me and I should receive them on Wednesday. I did. Are these guys located at the post office? The turn around time is unbelievable. Now my only concern is that I will run out of movies I want to see on their site. When that happens, I will just be paying them $8 a month for nothing…kind of like most gym memberships I have had the last ten years.
