I love NYC

I spent Sunday walking around Tribeca and Soho with my friends. Stopping occasionally for a drink or two. Drinking sangria in Little Italy, eating a great steak with a great bottle of cabernet. Drinking 150 year old Grand Marnier after the meal and winding up the night by crashing a wedding reception at my friends favorite champaign bar. Yep, it was a lot of drinking and a lot of fun. What can I say, I love NYC.

Monday was more about sitting on the couch, drinking home made sangria and BBQing. Sometimes a quiet day can be just as much fun.

I am in Seattle today and tomorrow returning home on Friday. Lots of work to do and friends to see while I am here. Should keep me busy.

Speaking of friends...I want to personally send out condolences to one of the N.B.C. as she lost her grandmother this week. I lost the last of my grandparents when I was a teen so I can fully understand what she is going through. IG...we are all thinking about you and your family. I am very sorry for your loss.

Very interesting! I spent the day before walking around Canal Street (China Town, I guess), SoHo and the village with my rugrat, between stints of watching SMIII filming on 57th and 7th.

Sunday, I spent the day driving in circles in China Town fruitlessly trying to find parking! When we finally found one (after an hour and an overheated engine!), we went to Little Italy (about a two block stretch now that China Town has taken most of it. No good gelato anymore. The only place (on Mulberry?) was not good.

You never know; I may have passed you on the street. ;)

We'll have to stick with Little Italy in Baltimore for decent gelato.
