I love about my new apartment:
The water pressure in my shower is great. I really hate a shower that drips on you.
There is no neighbor to my left and I have not heard a peep out of my neighbor to the right. I have heard the neighbor above me, but nothing to distressing.
There are two bedrooms, and more importantly, two bathrooms. This way no one needs to use my bathroom.
I have plenty of cupboard space. I haven't had that in a long time. I actually have half empty cupboards.
There are plenty of cable outlets and phone jacks, so I can decide where to put things.
I can walk out my front door and walk to any of 10 restaurants in less than 5 minutes. Not to mention, a movie theater and some nice shopping.
It takes me 9 minutes to get to my office.
My parking space are right next to the elevator that is right next to my front door.
The concierge in the building who accepts packages and will even handle my dry cleaning.
I could complain that there is no place in the kitchen for a garbage can, or that I have to make a special trip downstairs every day to get my mail, but for right now, I am choosing to focus on the good things about the place and not the bad. After all it is just a rental.
