I am interviewing with a company in a few hours and I heard it through the grapevine that they want me to move to Los Angeles. I don't know diddly about LA, except that I have never considered living there. So I ask all of you SCal people and anyone else who has an opinion, if you could live anywhere in LA, as long as it was in a 1 bedroom apartment, within walking distance of restaurants and bars, and near the beach would be nice, and someplace that won't take me three hours to get in and out of every day, where would you live?
The beach is not necessary, but I like downtown type living. Those of you in the know, help me out.
