New Ride - Help My Peeps

Thank you all for your thoughts. I can not respond to you all, but here are some of my thoughts.

1. I am 39 years old, so I will not be getting anything that looks like it belongs in a "2 Fast 2 Furious" movie.
2. Jas - I also kinda chuckle when I see people in the Boxster, which is why I dismissed it before.
3. I am not getting a new car. I generally look for cars that are 5 or 6 yeears old with low miles.
4. AL - Not a big corvette fan. My brother-in-law has one so I will get a free test drive and see if it changes my mind.
5. I will look into the BMW's never really considered them much. I don't like most sedans that are out now - except the Audi.
6. The Jeep has got to go. Thanks to you all.

I have been thinking of getting a new ride. I been driving around in a Jeep Cherokee and it just doesn't suit me. I got it because I was basically a traveling salesman and needed something good on gas, but with enough room to hold all my shat. Now I just want something more like me. You know topless and fun to drive.

I got pre-approved for a loan so I basically have a check and can walk in anywhere to get a car. The problem is I can not decide what to get.

At first I thought I might buy a Boxster. But everyone has one of those in Cali, at least it seems that way. I considered the 911, but I would have to go back some years to stay in my budget and I don't like the idea of having to pay for maintenance or repairs. My brother suggested the new Nissan 350Z, but I really want a convertible and their ragtop is a little more than I want to spend. Here is the Boxster.

Boxster

Lately I have been thinking about one of these in blue or maybe racing green.

Jaguar XK8

I like the Jag and you don't see them on the road everywhere. It is in my price range and I think it will look good on me. I am open to opinions and suggestions.
