Do you know what is great about the monthly poker game at Bertolas?
The prime rib sandwich I had for dinner there before the game started.
The vodka tonics I had with dinner.
The new waitress whose name starts with a D.
Seeing my old boss DM washing dishes that night because the dishwasher called in sick.
Not getting a check for my dinner or drinks.
Winning the first hand of the game.
The open bar.
The pesto pizza delivered by the pizza place around the corner.
Laughing at really bad jokes.
Spending time with people that mean a lot to me.
But the best thing about the monthly poker game at Bertolas:
Leaving with $3.80 more than I came with.
