It was just your average Wednesday. I worked, spent most of the day on a conference call trying to track down the technical details of a new product I am working on. I spent the other half of the day listening to my Ipod. I love my Ipod. It was a gift from my family this year at Christmas. I have about 1200 songs on my computer now, but I don't bother to download them all to the Ipod. I download the playlists I make and listen to them. Each playlist has around 50 songs on it and they are broken into categories - like classic rock, soul, pop etc...
I read an article about the new Ipod they just announced at Mac World. It is small and has almost no controls on it at all. They say it is about the size of a pack of gum. It can hold more than 100 songs, which is probably plenty. The nice thing is that it is under $100. That is amazing. I like my version better, only because I can carry around more songs, I have about 600 on my Ipod now.
I have also been looking into getting a new TV and stereo system. My old system is old and I need an upgrade. I am not leaning toward a plasma screen right now. I think that there are some nice TV's available that are not plasma. They still aren't anywhere near the size of my old big screen. I am definitely getting some flat panel speakers. I heard some in Walnut Creek last month and they were awesome. The sound comes from everywhere and it is crystal clear. I am not sure what I am going to get as components. I like the Onkyo receiver that allows you to play your MP3's from your computer through your stereo. But I have not decided yet. I figure I should be sure this time as I will have this stuff for a long time...better get the best I can. Anyone got any suggestions.
