I am on day two of the “Detox in a Box” program. This is the second time I have gone through this program. I am shooting to go for 14 days. So it is 13 more days of supplements, pills, bland food and did I mention, no sugar, no caffeine and no alcohol. I woke up with a headache this morning from the lack of sugar and caffeine already. I know I will feel great in a day or two, but the first few detox days are tough.
I also started working out again so my body is aching a little this morning as well. It has been a long time since I was motivated enough to go to the gym, let alone keep going. I am going to try and keep going. I am hoping to get back down to a reasonable weight. Or at least stop the needle from moving in the other direction. I have a great gym in my new place, so maybe if I get in the habit of working out now, I will be more inclined to use the gym at my new condo.
Speaking of the new condo, I am closing this Friday. Yep on Friday I become poor again. I get the tax implications of owning, and I realize that my tax returns will be better, but let’s be honest, you still have to shell out the money monthly in order to get it back at the end of the year. I am very excited about the new place and the new neighborhood.
Last week I got rid of some old stuff I won’t need any more. I have some other things if anyone is interested. Most notably a desk and a microwave. I am also donating stuff to charity as I leave. I figure better to get rid of it than move it with me. Let me know if you want anything.
I also have my decorator coming over this morning. Normally, I would just let the metrosexual in me take over and I would do my own decorating, but I just am at a loss for colors in my new place. The flooring is a strange color and the cabinets are a dark cherry wood and the marble in the place is very dark. I really just want my decorator to help me pick the colors so I can get the place painted before I move. I think I can take over from there.
Anyway, I got to go as I am sure I am supposed to be taking some pills right now.

Congrats on the new condo! If I were there, I'd help you for free:) I loved picking out my paints, finishings and furniture for my place.
