I like Barcelona a lot, although I am not sure what it is like when there isn’t the largest wireless GSM show in the world visiting. Yeah, it was crowded. Restaurants were full and people were always on the streets. You would hear accents from all over the world. The people are friendly and there are small bars open very late. My Spanish was better at the end, but I think the only way I will ever really get it is to live in Spain. Hey, there’s an idea.
I don’t want to go into to many details, but I am getting very close to a move abroad. No, not a move on a broad…a move abroad. I think I will be in Europe before summer.
BTW - Let me tell you the one thing you never want to hear as your plane is landing at Dulles.
“Your luggage can be claimed at carousel 4. However, your luggage will be a delayed due to the weather.”Delayed in Dulles? That isn’t good as Dulles is quite possibly the slowest airport in the country, maybe the world, at getting you your luggage. On a good day, the wait is 45 minutes. I had to wait almost two hours. And making people wait two hours for luggage after twelve hours of travel is just cruel. Even if they are traveling in Business Class.
I am home this week and then gone again for nine days or so. I am going to NYC, then Seattle and rounding out my trip to Arizona. NYC for the weekend…I am a buddy’s wingman for the weekend. Work in Seattle and then the weekend visiting another buddy in Arizona. Man, my life is pretty good.
For those of you that know the address, I posted some pictures of Barcelona on MySpace. I also put some new pictures of Nick on there. Father’s prerogative.

Glad you had a good time. I love Seattle..especially the Public Market best crab ragoons at this stand right across from the fish market (other side of the street) that is. Never been to NYC..hope to change that sometime soon.
So where in Europe? I will be very jealous for you.
And Nick is a cutie pie.
Nick's cute :) Tell him I said so :)
Noojes
Please don't encourage him...I am trying to get him to, you know, shave...maybe bathe regularly. These Seattle kids amaze me.
I am not sure when rolling out of bed and putting on second hand clothes before leaving the house became chic, but I am sure it was right after wearing pants so big that the world can see your underwear. Yep, I am so proud. :)
glad your trip was safe and sound...got time in Seattle...take the underground tour....it's cool if they do it in winter that is.
that little slideshow thing is great
I am OH so very, very jealous of your trip and if you more over seas, HipChick is going to be even more so. Nick's adorable. he looks so much like you.
Hey, stay in the area for a weekend so we can plan brunch!!
Cosmo- When do I get to do brunch?
You're right, Dulles is slow and boring. In fact it's the dulles airport on earth haha :)
i hate picking up luggage. just when you think, 'thank god, I'm here - get me the hell out of this airport!", they make you wait another hour. I don't think I've ever waited LESS than an hour for our luggage at Pittsburgh's airport.
dulles sucks ass.
does this mean brunch has moved to europe?
nice.
i think it might make it a little less frequent though-- if that's possible (to be less frequent).
i went to della notte sunday for my father's birthday-- thought of you all.
I must say that my Kate Spade luggage was the BEST travel idea I have ever had. While everyone is standing there, watching the same 100 pieces of luggage in burgundy, navy and black rotate, I can spot green, red, yellow, and blue strips four+ conveyers down!
Della Notte near Little Italy? I have always wanted to go there, but usually settle for various places in Fells Point. I highly recommend Louisiana!
Damn, I finally got to see a pic of you after all this time...:) I've never been to Europe, so I can't help you out there but I'm jealous. I'd love to live abroad, but my field isn't "special" enough to warrant a visa.
