Miss Me?

OK, I know it has been a while, but I have had a hell of a week. Aside from my normal work, one of my peers and I also put together a training class for my sales teams, and all the teams in the area. We have been working on it for a few weeks and it finally happened on Thursday. I think it went well, but it was a bit stressful. I hope the sales reps got something out of it.

I also had to drive about 200 miles on Friday to go to an appointment down south. I think many people took Friday off for to extend the holiday weekend as the traffic was light. I did, however, get a speeding ticket on the way to the appointment, 65 in a 50. The thing that pissed me off is that I was only driving as fast as everyone else around me. I literally had two cars in from of me and one to my right and for some reason the highway patrolman chose me. I asked, why me, and all he said was that my car was the one his radar locked onto. Nice.

After the meeting I had lunch in Capitola. I don’t know how many of you get the chance to visit the Bay Area, but if you do, Capitola is a pretty good spot to catch a meal. It is one of those small beach towns. I also did some wine tasting and bought 6 bottles to go. I now have over 100 bottles in my place and storage for about 48. I spent part of today shopping, hoping to find something to help me store my vino. No luck. I am actually considering buying one of these. I have always thought it would be nice to store my wine properly. What do you think?

I have plans tonight to go hang out with the fellas and play some poker. It's a monthly game and a good distraction from the everyday grind of life. Tomorrow I'm going to my parent’s house. We are celebrating my dad and my sister-in-law’s birthday. She is coming over to make enchiladas. It's her birthday and she has to cook. Should be fun.

Anyway, I hope you are all out experiencing life. Until next time.
